Due to health benefits associated to the purple eggplants such as low in calories and sodium, and a great source of dietary fiber, potassium, and B vitamins, farmers have the lucrative market for the quality produce. It is an early variety with beautiful half long spineless fruits. The plant’s big leaves cover the fruits well and ensures they keep their dark color.

Our African White eggplant has a distinctly bitter taste that becomes more bitter as it ripens. It has been a staple in African culture and cuisine where 80% of the total eggplant production in Africa comes from small family farms. African eggplants are consumed on a regular basis in households and are popularly used in curry dishes.
