Seeds — Agriseeds Ltd
Agriseeds Ltd · since 2013
A leading seed supplier in the region
Agriseeds Ltd was created in 2013 as a vegetable seed company. Today it is the seed arm of Agriseeds Group, producing, processing and distributing certified vegetable and hybrid maize seed through a vertically integrated value chain — from our own production unit, EASI Seed Ltd, to a nationwide network of agro-dealers and exports to neighbouring countries.
From gardens to commercial farms, we've got you covered: a wide range of varieties and pack sizes so that every farmer can choose what fits their plot, season and budget.

Grown by EASI Seed Ltd and contracted out-growers
EASI Seed Ltd is the group's dedicated vegetable seed production unit. Foundation seed is multiplied on our own fields and by a network of contracted out-grower farmers who receive planting material, training and season-long agronomic supervision.
Contracted out-grower farmers with guaranteed buy-back
Isolation distances, roguing and field inspections at every growth stage
Certified under Rwanda's seed certification system
Variety trials with research partners for local adaptation
Cleaned, graded, tested and packed for the field
Harvested seed goes through our processing line with AgroChemicals Solutions Ltd, where it is conditioned, treated and sealed in farmer-friendly pack sizes so it reaches you with the germination we promise on the label.
Cleaning and grading for size and purity
Seed treatment and coating against soil pests and seedling diseases
Germination and moisture testing on every lot before release
Packaging from 10 g sachets to 500 g tins and 25 kg bags, with lot number and packing date

Our seed reaches farmers through a nationwide network of authorised agro-dealers, cooperatives and institutional buyers, supported by our own field agronomists. Rwanda is also our hub for exports to neighbouring countries in the region.

Hybrid vigour, produced locally
Hybrid Maize new · demo copy
High-yielding hybrid maize varieties adapted to Rwanda's low, mid and high altitudes, produced and processed locally. Selected for early maturity, strong standability and tolerance to common leaf diseases, and available in 2 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg packs for the Season A and Season B planting windows.
Hybrid Vegetables
Our hybrid range gives commercial growers uniformity and higher marketable yield: Red King and Granex F1 onion, and Julie F1 and Sukari F1 watermelon.
Higher and more uniform yields than open-pollinated varieties
Better tolerance to pests, diseases and stress
Buy fresh seed each season — hybrid seed should not be re-planted from harvest
Home-grown seed for Rwandan farmers
Most vegetable seed sold in the region is imported. Agriseeds Ltd chose a different path: multiply, process and pack seed in Rwanda, with Rwandan farmers. Locally produced seed is selected under our own climate, reaches the market fresher, keeps value in rural communities and reduces dependence on imports.
Varieties tested and adapted to Rwanda's altitudes and seasons
Income for out-grower families and rural jobs in processing
Supports the national goal of food security and farmer livelihoods
Research and development with recognised research partners
